The Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab, announced this Friday, the 19th, the next preliminary hearing in the case of rapper Tirone González, known as Canserbero, and Carlos Molnar, his manager, who were murdered on January 19, 2015, by those currently accused, including María Natalia Améstica and Guillermo Améstica.
This was reported in his account on the social network X, in which he explained that this hearing is held “after the special hearings of early evidence of a plea held on December 26 and 27, 2023, where the Améstica brothers described to a judge, prosecutors and their defense the way and the motive in which they perpetrated the double murder of Canserbero and Carlos Molnar”.
In this regard, he specified that “the Public Prosecutor's Office announces that in the coming days of this month of January the #imputados arrested for their bloody participation in these crimes: they will be transferred to the 2nd Court acting for AMC Control, for the holding of the Preliminary Hearing (after the Public Prosecutor's Office issued the indictment on January 8), in accordance with the provisions of article 309 of the Organic Code of Criminal Procedure”.
He explained that during this hearing, the MP will present the respective accusations presented against the Amestica brothers, for the crimes of homicide classified as Alevosía and for futile reasons capable of co-authorship, obstruction of the administration of justice, simulation of a punishable act, false attestation before a public official and association to commit crimes.
He also singled out the citizen Marco Pratolongo for the crimes of homicide described as malevolent and futile motive, to the extent of unnecessary accomplice, simulation of a punishable act, obstruction of the administration of justice and association to commit crimes.
Likewise, the three accused officials who acted in the proceedings: Edgar Trillo. Gilbert Cruz and Teresa Pinto, are accused of the crimes of obstruction of the administration of justice, simulation of a punishable act, aggravated own corruption and association to commit crimes.
Another of the defendants is Solangela Mendoza in her capacity as a pathologist for the crimes of obstruction of the administration of justice, concealment and association to commit crimes.
“We have also requested an arrest warrant and Red Alert for the non-performance of their duties during office from the escaped Former Prosecutors 1. Yoli Abelina Torres Franco 2. Tulio Enrique Mendoza Pérez, for the crimes: Malicious Omission, Obstruction to the Administration of Justice and Association to commit crimes. And also for former officials of CICPC 3. Arquelis Enrique Blanco 4. Vicson Jesús Medina and 5. Yonel Alejandro Toro, based on the analysis of the actions carried out in 2015 and the special hearing of the complaint, for the crimes: Obstruction of the administration of justice, Simulation of a Punishable Act, Aggravated Own Corruption and Criminal Association,” said Saab.
The head of the MP explained that to clarify the Canserbero case, they carried out more than 120 steps and tests, including the first approach at the site of the event, the free fall of the doll similar to Canserbero, a luminol test, the first exhumation of Canserbero's body and a biopsychosocial autopsy.
In addition to these actions, interviews with family members and 2 witnesses, an anthropological study of the foot print and 3D forensic animation of the events are added.
The attorney general added some photographic fixings taken on January 20, 2015, which rest in the file and which end up revealing the homicidal technique used by Natalia Amestica and Guillermo Amestica to kill Canserbero and Carlos Molnar.
The first one shows the table with a jug of tea diluted with 10 mg of the drug Alpram and the two cups where the victims drank, who were put to sleep and then killed.
The second photograph shows the hole in the window without the knobs that were previously extracted by Canserbero's killers, and then thrown away his body, which refutes the suicide thesis.
He also added audiovisual material where Natalia Amestica confesses to the crime committed against Canserbero and Molnar.
