The Venezuelan poet and Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab, presented his literary works at the Cuban Book Fair: Bongue of Timeless Adolescence (2nd Edition of Vadel Brothers) and the second volume of Discourses at the Foot of the Hemicycle (Monte Ávila Editores).

In a press release, published on the Instagram account of the Public Ministry, he points out that the activity was carried out in the Nicolás Guillén Room, with the assistance of the Attorney General of Cuba, Yamila Peña, the Minister of Justice of Cuba, Oscar Silevera and the Venezuelan Ombudsman, Alfredo Ruiz.

The event was also attended by the Vice Minister of Culture of Cuba, Fernando Leon Jacomino and Orlando Maneiro, ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to Cuba, who, together with a large audience that filled the Hall, applauded the brilliant exhibition provided by Saab.

Saab presented many endearing testimonies of his 40 years of literary life in El Tigre, his hometown, Mérida, Caracas, and in several cities in Venezuela and around the world, which have witnessed the poetic quality of his 13 books, now translated into several languages, and which have been worthy of study by renowned Venezuelan writers.

He also commented on the history of Venezuela and Cuba in the construction of revolutions and the emergence of his friendship with Fidel forever.

For his part, the Cuban writer and editor Michel Torres Corona, presenter of the Attorney General's books, stated that Saab “is a man of Martí and Bolívar, also of Chávez and of Fidel.”

In his essay on the work and life of Tarek William Saab, he added the following traits of his career: “Like Harry Haller, the character of Herman Hesse who stars in 'The Steppe Wolf', a thousand apparently disjointed pieces make up the multifaceted personality of Tarek William Saab. And yet, there is one word that is its vital sign: coherence”.
