PSUV approved President Maduro's proposal to move from unarmed struggle to armed struggle

The United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) approved the fourth task proposed by the president of the revolutionary tent, Nicolás Maduro, which consists of organizing and strengthening the capacity to move from unarmed struggle to armed struggle in defense of the country against external threats.
The debate was led by the party's general secretary, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, who explained the points during the Extraordinary Plenary of the Fifth Congress of the PSUV and the Fourth Congress of the JPSUV.
“We are not training the people to be left behind. We are going to go out and fight with all our might. Rest assured that's going to be the case,” he said.
Cabello highlighted the active participation of Pueblo as a key component in the defense of sovereignty, while stressing that unity must prevail over all things.
“The last breath has to be for Venezuela, just as the first one was,” he concluded.
Below are details of the fourth task, which aims to organize and strengthen the capacity to move from unarmed struggle to armed struggle:
1. Information and preparation of the People: generalized military training, training in a tactical method of revolutionary resistance.
- First aid training.
- • Carrying out simulations of all kinds.
2. Structural organization: strengthening the Popular-Military-Police Fusion
- Creation of social and communal intelligence.
- • Maintain voluntary enlistment.
- Mapping and protection of strategic points: the location on the ground of strategic sites for the protection of the People by the Party.
- Definition of roles and responsibilities.
- • Always summon the Active Reserve.
3. Logistics and strategy
- • Strengthening of the territorial logistics system.
- Creation of popular strategic reserves.
- Protection of essential services.
- Creation of support, protection and shelter networks.
