PSUV bases held more than 14,000 assemblies to support President Maduro in Aragua

More than 14,000 consultation, debate and nomination meetings for the presidential candidate were held in the state of Aragua to support the re-election of President Nicolás Maduro, according to the website of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV).

The publication specifies that these assemblies were held in 10,257 streets, 1,768 communities and 662 Bolivar Chávez Battle Units (UBCH) of the entity, to later hand over the application minutes to the liaison of the National Directorate for Aragua, Ricardo Molina, who stressed that they will be taken to the highest political command.

In addition, he explained that the central entity would request “that the Congress of the PSUV be held in the coming days and for Nicolás Maduro to be enacted by consensus, as the sole candidate of the Revolution and from Aragua we take it for granted that we want him to be our presidential candidate for next July 28.”

For her part, the governor, Karina Carpio, stressed that the more than 14,000 minutes delivered, “are the materialization of the thousands of wills collected by our Party over the weekend, who want to firmly re-elect President Nicolás Maduro.”
