In an official statement, the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) demands that the United States (USA) return to the country the Head of State, Nicolás Maduro and the first combatant, Cilia Flores

In addition, the red curtain denounces to the peoples and governments of the world, the cowardly military aggression perpetrated in the early morning of January 03, 2026 by the current government of the United States against Caracas, capital of the Republic, and of the states of Miranda, Aragua and La Guaira, while immediately demanding that President Donald Trump offer faith of life to President Nicolás Maduro Moros, and the first lady Cilia Flores, kidnapped during the criminal action, details the PSUV website.

PSUV demands that the United States return President Nicolás Maduro and the First Lady

The United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) denounces to the peoples and governments of the world the cowardly military aggression perpetrated in the early morning of this Saturday, January 03, 2026 by the current government of the United States against the city of Caracas, capital of the Republic, and of the states of Miranda, Aragua and La Guaira; at the same time it immediately demands that President Donald Trump offer Faith of Life to the Venezuelan President, Nicolás Maduro Moros, and the First Lady Cilia Flores de Maduro, kidnapped during the criminal action.

Faced with such a serious attack on our sovereignty, the PSUV calls for the immediate mobilization of all its militancy, community commands and street teams, the UBCH, the party structures and all the noble people of Venezuela who love peace, in the protection of the Republic, in absolute unity, under the command of our High Command, prepared and prepared as we are to defend our country against any type of foreign attack.
We are the party founded by Commander Hugo Chávez Frías, the political and moral vanguard of the Bolivarian Revolution. That is why we are closing ranks, today more than ever, with the Bolivarian government and we express our absolute loyalty to President Nicolás Maduro.

We call on all governments and peoples of the world to express their total condemnation of this grotesque military action that violates the United Nations Charter and tramples on international law. To our allies, political parties, social movements, organizations and all those who believe in peaceful coexistence and respect between nations, to mobilize immediately and permanently through statements, public pronouncements, protests and actions before parliaments, embassies and headquarters of international organizations.

Let international indignation rise firmly against the escalation of imperialist war that threatens peace in the entire Latin American and Caribbean region and which has already claimed the lives of military martyrs and innocent civilians!

Venezuela will activate Bolivarian peace diplomacy and will file the corresponding complaint with the UN Security Council, its Secretary General, CELAC and the MNOAL demanding the condemnation and accountability of the US government.

The will of the peoples will prevail, including the people of the United States, who for the most part reject the deranged unjustified war action of their government.
