Public Prosecutor's Office will charge adolescent for personal injury

The Public
Ministry (MP) announced the arrest of adolescent Emili Fernanda Pineda
for “savagely” assaulting a 15-year-old girl in Yaracuy.
According to information published on the MP's Instagram account, the woman was apprehended to be charged by the Public Prosecutor's Office, with imprisonment for the crime of personal injury.
The
publication states that the events occurred in the Tierra Amarilla sector in
Yaritagua. However, it was known that the arrest was achieved in Trujillo state.
“The Public
Ministry, under our management, has deployed several
education and prevention campaigns against violence in vulnerable sectors of
society, but we will also continue to exercise the ownership of
criminal proceedings to punish actions that occur outside the law in our country.”
A video showing Pineda assaulting a young woman went viral on social networks, so users urged the MP to act in accordance with the Law.
