Puerto de Guanta added a new crane to strengthen cargo handling

The Port of Guanta, Anzoátegui state, added a Liebherr LHM 420 mobile port crane to its machinery park, which arrived aboard the Industrial Ursula vessel to reinforce operations at the maritime terminal.

This was announced by Bolivariana de Puertos through its Instagram account, in which it specified that the equipment, installed in position number five, will optimize the mobilization of containerized cargo and project cargo, in addition to streamlining the reception and dispatch processes.

He also noted that the new operational capacity will facilitate the import of inputs destined for the domestic industry and will contribute to the strengthening of exports of Venezuelan products.

He reaffirmed that with this addition, the Port of Guanta expands its capacities to accompany the country's productive and commercial development.
