The Qatari airline Qatar Airways, through its social networks, announced two new weekly flights to Caracas, which will begin operating in early summer 2025.
The initiative makes the company the first and only airline offering direct flights from the Middle East to Caracas and the only Middle Eastern airline operating in Venezuela.
Following this announcement, Caracas becomes Qatar Airways' 16th destination in the Americas.
The Qatari airline also reported that there will be two new weekly flights to Caracas, which will take place on Wednesdays and Sundays, starting in early summer 2025.
“These flights will connect Hamad International Airport (DOH) in Doha with Bogota El Dorado International Airport (BOG) in Colombia, and then continue to Caracas Simon Bolivar International Airport (CCS) in Venezuela,” the company said in a statement.
In addition, they add that “operated by Boeing 777-200LR aircraft equipped with 42 seats in Business Class and 234 in Economy Class, the new services in Caracas will provide travelers from two of the busiest cities in South America with convenient access to the Middle East”.
