Qatar is proposed as a diplomatic bridge between the United States and Venezuela

The spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, Dr. Majid Al-Ansari, said that his country is extremely concerned after the military aggression of the United States against Venezuela, and stated that they are willing to make mediation efforts between the two countries to find a peaceful solution.

“We are extremely concerned about what is happening there,” said Al-Ansari, who assessed that the problem extends beyond Venezuela. “It's not just about Venezuela; it's about the stability of the entire region,” he said after confirming that the communication channel between Qatar and ours remains open.

The spokesperson stated that “Qatar has been a successful mediator between Venezuela and the United States in the past, and these channels are ready to be used if either government requests our assistance.”

In addition, as reported by Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), it reaffirmed Doha's commitment to respect the Charter of the United Nations and international law, in particular the need to resolve disputes between States peacefully.
