Railroad to Valles del Tuy will work during special hours at Christmas and New Year

The Ezequiel Zamora I System train that covers the Valles del Tuy-Caracas route will work during special hours for the Christmas holidays on December 24, 25 and 31, as well as on January 1, 2026, the State Railroad Institute (IFE) reported.

On the 24th and 31st, the train will be available from 5:00 in the morning until 9:00 at night, while on January 25 and 1 it will start operations at 9:00 in the morning until 9:00 at night.

In addition, as reported by the Venezuelan News Agency, the IFE authorized the transfer of large packages at all stations for the cost of an additional ticket. This measure seeks to facilitate the movement of goods and luggage during the season.

The railway authorities called on parents and representatives to maintain strict surveillance of minors on platforms and trains, and recalled that the informal economy and begging in the facilities are prohibited.

In addition, the entity recommends recharging smart cards in advance at the ticket offices in Caracas (Libertador Simón Bolívar), Charallave Norte, Charallave Sur and Cúa to speed up the flow of passengers.
