Rain this Monday caused the collapse of a house in Carapita

The general commander of the Caracas Fire Department, Pablo Antonio Palacios, reported the structural collapse of a house, without injuries or human losses, after the rains recorded this Monday night in Carapita, Antímano parish, Libertador municipality.

In this regard, he explained that the rescue work allowed the preventive evacuation of the inhabitants of the building, who suffered partial damage, in order to avoid possible risks.

In statements collected by the Venezuelan News Agency (AVN), the authority explained that after the contingency, the area presents risk characteristics, so preventive recommendations were offered to affected families.

Palacios thanked the Bolivarian National Police for their support, which collaborated in the security and protection of those affected.
