Rajatabla Foundation received green label after habitability evaluation

The Presidential Commission
for the Evaluation of Infrastructure Habitability inspected the headquarters of the
Rajatabla Foundation, one of the most important and
influential theater companies in Venezuela and Latin America, located between the
National Experimental University of the Arts (UNEARTE) and the parking lot of the Teresa Carreño Theater, in Caracas.
This was announced
through his Instagram account, in which the civil engineer in charge of
the evaluation, Jhonnathan Rodríguez, reported that the building has no visible
damage and, therefore, received the green label.
However, he pointed out that the
infrastructure has parasols made of asbestos, which must
be removed in accordance with established protocols for the management of this material.
The inspection was also
attended by the president of the Cultural Heritage Institute (IPC), Dinorah
Cruz, as part of actions to evaluate and protect
cultural spaces following recent seismic events.
