Last Thursday, January 22, in the spaces of the Librería del Sur San Felipe, Yaracuy
state, the Reading Plan “25 by 25” began, as part of the literary
strengthening for young people aged 15 to 30, throughout its network of bookstores.
The
activity was attended by one hundred young people, who had the
opportunity to purchase the free books in this collection to contribute to
their educational and cultural training, according to a note from the Ministry for Culture.
The “25 for 25”
collection published by the Fund for Economic Culture of Mexico, and
distributed free of charge by the Bolivarian Government, seeks to promote
reading among young people in Latin America, as a continental initiative that
promotes literary culture as a tool for transformation.
The National Book Center (CENAL) and Monte Ávila Latin American Publishers signed this agreement on behalf of the Ministry of Popular Power for Culture and the holder of the portfolio, Ernesto Villegas, with the Fund for Economic Culture, for the distribution of 200,000 copies throughout the country.
