Reading rediscovers us! FILVEN will be in Barinas until this Saturday

Next Saturday, March 9th, the José Esteban Ruiz Guevara Theater, in Barinas, will host the 19th Venezuelan International Book Fair (FILVEN), where you can find literary news, from different publishers such as The Dog and the Frog, Monte Ávila and the Ayacucho Library.

Also, with the motto Reading Meets Us Again, within the framework of this book festival, text presentations, talks, conferences, workshops and various artistic and cultural expressions will be held. In addition, this time the writer honored is Leonardo Gustavo Ruiz Tirado (Barinas, 1959), who has a long career in the cultural history of Venezuela, a poet, chronicler, essayist and visual artist.

In the same way, according to information from the FILVEN website, José Javier Sánchez, Vielsy Arias and Flora Ovalles are also participating as invited national authors.

It should be noted that this event is organized by the Ministry of Popular Power for Culture, through the National Book Center (CENAL) and the State Cabinet of Culture of Barinas, in coordination with the mayors of the municipalities of Barinas and Antonio José de Sucre.
