With the objective of strengthening hygiene protocols, more than 50,000 square meters of the José María Vargas Maternal and Child Hospital in the municipality of Valencia were treated during a cleaning and weeding day organized by the government of the state of Carabobo, through the Carabobo Te Quiero Foundation.

During the deployment, weed-cutting work was carried out in the gardens and perimeter areas, as well as a deep sweep of the main entrance, sidewalks and paths. In addition, solid and vegetable waste was collected and removed, in what is also known as Maternidad del Sur.

“We keep working in this important health center with the main objective of optimizing health and access conditions, thus ensuring that the hospital environment meets the necessary standards for the care of women and children in our state who attend this facility,” said the president of the Carabobo Te Quiero Foundation, Jhonny Del Corral.

The institution's crews will remain deployed throughout the entity to provide completely clean common and recreational areas for Carabobeños and Carabobeñas.
