A total of 7,540 high-quality cacao seedlings were delivered by the regional government to producers in the Acevedo municipality of the Barlovento axis in Miranda state.

The proposal contemplates the reactivation of the Mango de Ocoita cocoa processing plant and the Guillermo Rivas El Cimarrón chocolate factory in Marizapa, infrastructures necessary to transform the raw material, cites a local press release.

The mayor of the Acevedo municipality, José Oliveros Gómez, asked for support from the Minister of Popular Power for Science and Technology, Yván Gil, to strengthen the cacaotero industrial circuit.
