With the objective of promoting tourism and sustainable development on the coasts, the government of Aragua, together with the local government, has implemented an intensive environmental sanitation plan in various communities and resorts in Ocumare de la Costa de Oro.

The initiative aims to optimize solid waste management in the region's main tourist centers, ensuring clean, hygienic and safe spaces both for local communities and for the thousands of vacationers who visit the coastal area.

The conference, with the participation of FUNDARAGUA workers in coordination with the COSTARAGUA team, has directly benefited more than 200 families thanks to the strategic incorporation of a state-of-the-art compactor truck, said the mayor of the jurisdiction Wilmer Leal.

Among the sectors addressed in Ocumare de la Costa, the residential and commercial axes of the main avenue, Bolívar Street and Vallecito Street stand out. In addition, the environmental deployment reached key communities and tourist destinations such as Cruz de Mayo, El Muelle, Cata Privada, Cata Bay and the highway to Cuyagua.
