The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, exalted this Monday the deployment of the militancy of the red awning in the country's communities with the campaign “Take care of energy. Ignite life”, for energy savings.

“The Party is taking to the streets to accompany a tremendous effort being made by the National Government to address and solve the problem, to talk to the people, listen to the people,” Cabello said during the PSUV's weekly press conference.

He stressed that the State has asked for the support of companies and shopping centers for self-generation of energy, but “the 'wise' come from opposing stupidity, to say, 'No, the State wants industrialists to solve its problem' (...) No, that's not just a problem for the State, that's a problem for Venezuelans and Venezuelan women,” he stressed.

In this regard, he noted that the deployment of the PSUV “has been extraordinary. I congratulate and recognize the structure of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela who took to the streets. I am proud of this Party that went to the streets to show its face, but in addition, the results are also positive. And all this is being done to solve the problem, to address it,” he emphasized.

He said that “those who bet on disaster are going to be in for a big surprise, and a lot of this has to do with the great conscience of the Venezuelan people. A conscious people, a people that know what they should do and a people that, despite all the terrible media campaigns that exist on social networks, continues to move forward.”
