This Thursday, the hearings continue with respect to the contentious electoral appeal requested by the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, before the Electoral Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ).
In this regard, José Noriega, of the political organization Popular Voluntad, and José Perdomo, of the Political Alliance Renewal and Hope Assembly, went to the highest court in the morning hours.
In addition, former candidate Daniel Ceballos was accompanied by the legal representative of the Arepa party.
The purpose of these hearings is in accordance with articles 85 of the Organic Law of the Supreme Court of Justice 11 and 14 of the Code of Civil Procedure applicable by article 98 of the said Organic Law, in order to receive the electoral instruments that are in the possession of political organizations and candidates; as well as to answer questions asked by representatives of the highest court.
