The Venezuelan national team made its debut in the Super Round of Premier 12 Baseball, after shutting out China Taipei 2-0, at the Tokyo Dome stadium in the Japanese capital.
Venezuela and Chinese Taipei had a great pitching duel, however, the pitcher of the Asian team in the fourth inning was careless and Ramón Flores shot a single and then Carlos Pérez took it out of the park, so that the only lines of the match would arrive.
The next challenge for the national team led by Omar López will be on Friday, November 22 against host Japan. That meeting will be at 6:00 AM (Venezuela time).
