Revolutionary women mobilize in a large march in Caracas to commemorate International Women's Day and celebrate the achievements made in vindication.

The march has several starting points: including Zona Rental and the Redoma de Las Tres Gracias and will have as its arrival point the Paseo Los Próceres.

The mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, congratulated all the women in their day and invited them to continue working hard to continue building the Homeland.

“Venezuelan women have President Nicolás Maduro, who is a feminist and who supports women 100%,” she said.

He also stated that next to a great man there is a great woman and “we will always be by his side, not behind as they said before”.

For her part, Zuly Rodríguez said she was grateful for the changes that have occurred in favor of women. “In Revolution, women are listened to, supported and dignified,” she said.

Rodríguez also thanked President Nicolás Maduro for all the support he provides to women, not only to women entrepreneurs, but to all women in general.

Meanwhile, Petra Nervo from Cojedes state, said that she came to Caracas with a lot of love, peace and commitment to meet its feminist leader, President Nicolás Maduro, a man who continued the work of Commander Hugo Chávez, who made women visible and empowered.

“From the state of Cojedes we came 800 women to find out about President Maduro and we are willing to continue fighting to maintain our freedom and we will not kneel before anyone,” she said.
