The head of Government of Caracas (GDC), Nahum Fernández, led the wreath and posthumous tribute on the anniversary of Robert Serra's birth, at the General Cemetery of the South in Caracas, where the greatness of the love for the people of this martyr, victim of fascism and his alliances with Colombian paramilitary groups, was recalled with patriotic fervor.
“Those who tried to silence their heated verb failed, because their ideals endure in every patriot and in every revolutionary who stands up in defense of the Homeland,” Fernández said, recalling that Robert and his partner María Herrera lost their lives at the hands of Colombian terrorists hired by Álvaro Uribe Vélez, on October 1, 2014 in the early hours of the morning.
Fernández accompanied a popular ceremony together with spokespersons and spokespersons of the town and family members of the youngest prominent parliamentarian in the National Assembly (AN).
At the grave of the youth leader, he said that young Venezuelan patriots came together to praise the legacy of the one who considered himself “son of Chávez,” he said on his social networks.
He affirmed that revolutionary fervor and heroism live in every community, in schools and universities, so, without a doubt, Robert is a reference for every young person to make history in Venezuela and the world.
