Robotics and art reach children in Amazonas through the Science Holidays 2026 plan

The facilities of the Foundation for the Development of Science and Technology (Fundacite Amazonas) enthusiastically welcomed children and young people from the entity, on the occasion of the start of the second week of the Science and Technology Vacation Plan 2026.

According to a press release from the Ministry of Science and Technology (MINCYT), recreational and training activities, led by specialized facilitators, allowed participants to explore key areas for the development of technological, scientific and artistic knowledge, through workshops on drawing, digital adventure and educational robotics.

The boys and girls, in a very enthusiastic way, developed the assembly of robot prototypes, applying essential principles of programming logic and problem solving through the use of computer kits, effectively encouraging teamwork and early interest in exact sciences.

At the Digital Adventure station, attendees used interactive tools aimed at technological literacy, responsible use of the digital environment, computational logic and dynamics that bring children closer to new technologies in a safe way.

In addition, the meeting dedicated to creative expression allowed the coordination of movements, refining fine motor skills and consolidating the integration of the visual arts as a valuable complement to the integral development of scientific thinking.

Training activities are expected to continue over the next few weeks with new didactic dynamics aimed at continuing to awaken curiosity, ingenuity and scientific talent in the Amazon region.
