Rodríguez: Metallurgical industry shows solid growth with an increase of 165% in 2025

The Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, highlighted the sustained growth of the metallurgical industry in Venezuela, with an expansion projection of 165% for this year.

During his speech at the World Retailers Congress 2025, Rodríguez highlighted the importance of the sector for the country's economic development and celebrated the progress achieved despite the imperial blockade.

“Every growth point in any sector of our country is a cause for celebration. Glory to the brave people of Venezuela, who are moving forward despite the economic siege, are standing up and singing victory,” said Rodríguez.

He stressed that since 2018, growth in this sector has maintained a positive trend, registering a 10% increase in domestic production.

Rodríguez emphasized that the strengthening of the sector has been possible thanks to the public policies promoted by President Nicolás Maduro due to economic recovery.
