Route of Hope brought art and recreation to the Mariche transitory camp

A total of 20 children and young people from the transitional camp located at the Antonio José de Sucre International Youth Leadership School, in the Filas de Mariche parish, participated in a cultural day aimed at well-being and community coexistence.

According to information from Venezolana de Televisión, the event organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Government of Miranda, included integration games, training workshops and recreational activities.

In this regard, the Undersecretary of Culture, Dagsy Rodríguez, pointed out that the objective of the activity is to break the shelter routine through a dynamic environment. In addition, he noted that thanks to this space, the youth of the area were able to express their emotions through art.

“Seeing the smile and enthusiasm of our kids confirms that this work bears beautiful fruits. With the Route of Hope we not only bring dynamics, but we also bring a fraternal embrace, emotional restraint and the certainty that they are not alone on this path,” said Rodríguez.

The authorities reported that these days will continue in other shelters in Miranda state, in order to guarantee the right to art and the well-being of the families served.
