The Route of Hope was deployed in the Pedro Emilio Coll National Educational Unit, located in the Coche parish of Caracas, to provide social protection to children and young people affected by the earthquakes that occurred last June 24.

According to information from Venezolana de Televisión, the initiative included recreational, cultural and psychosocial support activities aimed at reducing the emotional impact generated by the emergency.

During the day, the participants also enjoyed traditional games, drawing pictures, face painting sessions, film screenings and stage presentations.

The program seeks to provide safe spaces for recreation and coexistence that contribute to the emotional well-being of children and young people, also promoting community interaction and strengthening family ties.

The Route of Hope is part of the comprehensive care actions promoted by the national Government to accompany affected communities and provide tools that promote emotional recovery after the seismic contingency.
