Route of Hope provides emotional support to children after an earthquake emergency

The Bolivarian Government maintains the Route of Hope
program, an initiative aimed at providing emotional
support and sociocultural activities to people affected
by earthquakes, with special attention to children and adolescents.
In this regard, the Minister of
Popular Power for Culture, Raúl Cazal, explained that the program seeks to offer a
message of hope and support communities during the recovery process.
“We are standing and we are lifting
Venezuela with our hands, our hearts,” he said, noting
that the initiative brings together brigade members and volunteers who carry out
recreational days, games and cultural activities in temporary camps, with the purpose of helping to mitigate
the psychological impact generated by the emergency.
Since its launch, the Route of
Hope has reached the camps installed in the Plaza de la Moneda, the Guayana Esequiba Educational
Complex in San Bernardino and the Generalissimo Francisco de Miranda Park.
This week, it is planned to expand the
deployment to centers located in the parishes of Sucre, San Juan, San
Agustín, Altagracia, 23 de Enero, La Pastora and Santa Teresa, where artistic and recreational activities
will be promoted as part of comprehensive care for affected families.
