Rumba Caracas gives way to popular cantatas during carnivals 2026

In a statement, the Government of Caracas announced that the musical event “Retumba Caracas” will give way to popular cantatas for the liberation of constitutional president Nicolás Maduro and the first female combatant, Cilia Flores, after the military aggression of last January 3.

“It's vital that we come together in one voice. The fight for the freedom and dignity of our leaders is also our fight,” he said.

In this regard, he extended the invitation to Caracas families to join the recreational and cultural activities that will take place in the different parishes of the capital city for children, adolescents and the people in general.

“Caracas has always been a place of resistance and strength. Together, with faith and courage, convinced that We Will Win!” , he pointed out.
