Rural aqueduct reactivated to serve more than 190 families in Zulia

To guarantee drinking water to more than 190 families, the Los Guayabitos Rural Aqueduct was reactivated, in the Miranda municipality of the state of Zulia, after work carried out by the Ministry for Water and the mayor's office of that town.
The water director of the Miranda mayor's office, a town located on the East Coast of the Lake, Rigoberto Yoris, reported that the process of carrying out the work involved the participation of the People's Power, through the UBCH Carmen Quiva de González and the community councils Los Guayabitos and Piñero, sectors located in the Ana María Campos parish.
As reported by the Venezuelan News Agency (AVN), Yoris explained that the work consisted of replacing a 15 HP pump, placing pass keys and recovering the dashboard, thus achieving the total reactivation of this aqueduct that carries water to two communities.
He reported that recently the community was also given a response with the reactivation of an aqueduct in the San Joaquín de La Vega communal territory, with the repair of a 7.5 HP pump, through the Municipal Directorate of Water, Hydrolake, and the support of Pequiven and Corpozulia.
