Russia and Yemen repudiate US attack on Iran and support the Persian people

The Russian government issued a strong statement condemning the air and missile attacks carried out by the United States against nuclear facilities in Iran.

“This reckless decision to launch missile and air attacks against the territory of a sovereign State, regardless of the justifications presented, constitutes a flagrant violation of international law,” the letter states.

He also warned that the action dramatically increased the likelihood of a larger conflict in the Middle East and emphasized that the bombings have seriously damaged the non-proliferation regime based on the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT), as well as the credibility of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

“The United States and Israel have dynamited decades of diplomatic efforts,” he said.

For its part, the Government of Yemen joined the wave of condemnation and warned that it was prepared to respond militarily if the United States insists on escalating the conflict.

In an official statement, Yemen described the attack as a blatant declaration of war and expressed its full support for the Iranian people.

In the text, he called on the peoples of Arab and Islamic nations to reject US-Israeli aggression and to assume their historical responsibility for the defense of the region.

Yemen's armed forces reiterated their willingness to attack American ships and warships in the Red Sea, in defense of regional sovereignty, if Washington takes new military action against Iran.
