Russia: Army neutralized saboteurs near the border with Ukraine

This Thursday, the Army of the Russian Federation launched a preventive attack against deployment points of Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups, detected in an area bordering the province of Belgorod.

In a statement, the Russian Defense Ministry detailed “Images of the destruction of temporary deployment points, living force and equipment of sabotage and reconnaissance groups of Ukrainian formations during preventive aviation and artillery attacks by the Western troop group”.

Previously, the Russian Defense reported that the country's Armed Forces destroyed an artillery unit of “Ukrainian terrorist formations” deployed in Ukrainian territory bordering Belgorod.

In this action, several American-made M777 howitzers, Grad multiple rocket launcher systems and armored combat vehicles used by Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups were eliminated.
