Russia demands from the US “immediate clarification” of the situation of President Maduro and Cilia Flores

The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed concern about the situation of President Nicolás Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, who were forcibly expelled during the criminal military attacks of this Saturday, January 3, by the United States (USA) against Venezuela.
“We demand
immediate clarification of this situation. Such actions, if they
have taken place, constitute an unacceptable violation of the
sovereignty of an independent State, whose respect is a
fundamental principle of international law,” he said in an official publication.
