Russia described Israel's violation of international law against Qatar as serious

On Wednesday, the Government of the Russian Federation stated that the recent Israeli attack on the capital of Qatar results in a serious violation of international law and the Charter of the United Nations.

“Russia considers what happened to be a serious violation of international law and the UN Charter, an aggression against the sovereignty and territorial integrity of an independent State, and a step that leads to a further escalation and destabilization of the situation in the Middle East,” the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

He also stresses that “these methods of fighting those whom Israel considers its enemies and opponents deserve the strongest condemnation”.
