This Thursday, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that the Army has recovered the towns of Martinovka and Krupets, in the province of Kursk, from Ukrainian troops.

“The Russian Armed Forces regained control of Krupets, in western Kursk province, after it was taken over by Ukraine in its cross-border incursion,” said a statement quoted by Hispantv.

The Ministry of Defense announced the advances of Russian forces to expel Ukrainian troops, and assured that “they continue to repel the attempt of the Ukrainian Army to invade the territory of the Russian Federation” that began on August 6.
