This Monday, the Russian Foreign Minister, Seguéi Lavrov, arrived in the Republic of Cuba as part of the start of his tour of Latin America.

Moscow and Havana are united in their desire to move towards the construction of a more just multipolar world order,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Eurasian nation published through its X account.

The head of Russian diplomacy is scheduled to meet with the Cuban president, Miguel Díaz-Canel, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bruno Rodríguez.

In this regard, Moscow and Havana are in solidarity with regard to the inadmissibility of interference in the internal affairs of sovereign States, the categorical inadmissibility of unilateral sanctions in violation of the Charter of the United Nations (UN), according to a press release from the Russian Foreign Ministry.

It is worth noting that Russia strongly supports the demands to immediately end Washington's illegal economic, commercial and financial blockade against Cuba and to remove the Caribbean nation from the US unilateral list of countries that sponsor terrorism.
