Russian Foreign Minister assured that the US already understands the Kremlin's position on Ukraine

This Tuesday, the Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation, Sergey Lavrov, after the end of the first talks with the US delegation in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, assured that the nation led by Donald Trump already understands the Kremlin's position.

The foreign minister indicated that the representatives of Russia and the United States (USA) addressed the willingness of the great powers in any situation to maintain a normal dialogue and try to listen to each other.

Lavrov described the dialogue as “very useful”, stressing that the US side “began to better understand our position” and added that both sides agreed to accelerate the appointment of ambassadors and eliminate problems in the functioning of their diplomatic missions.

“The most urgent and even less complicated thing: it is to ensure the quick appointment of Russian ambassadors to the United States and American ambassadors to Russia,” said the Russian Foreign Minister.

“Secondly, we must eliminate the obstacles that for many years, first of all, the administration (of former US President Biden) built in the last 4 years in the direction of our diplomatic missions, seriously hampering their work,” he stressed.
