Russian Foreign Minister said that G20 participants approve Russian-US negotiations

This Friday, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Sergey Lavrov, stated that the participants of the ministerial meeting of the Group of Twenty (G20) welcomed the consultations of the Russian Federation and the United States (USA), in Riyadh.

“Everyone welcomed our meeting. Everyone understands that this is not the end of the era of clashes between Russia and the West, but absolutely everyone recognizes and welcomes the fact that the beginning of a conversation is a return to normality,” Lavrov said after a meeting of G20 foreign ministers.

Lavrov defined as useless the fact that the European Union (EU) and the allies of the North Atlantic Organization (NATO) consider it a betrayal for “representatives of two great powers to negotiate, each expressing their own position”.
