Russian head of state: US authorities are undermining confidence in the dollar

During a press conference in the city of Harbin, located in the People's Republic of China, the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, stated that the Government of the United States (USA) is undermining confidence in the dollar and its role as a global reserve currency.

“The US authorities are undermining confidence in the dollar, weakening its main, primary and most important instrument of power: the dollar itself. They cause irreparable harm to themselves,” Putin said.
