The Russian Interior Minister, Vladimir Kolokoltsev, paid tribute to the 32 Cuban fighters killed during the January 3 U.S. military bombing of Venezuela that ended with the kidnapping of President Nicolás Maduro and First Lady Cilia Flores.
The wreath was placed in the Mausoleum of the Firefighters of the Necropolis of Colón, in Havana, in the presence of the Cuban Interior Minister, Lázaro Alberto Álvarez Casas; the ambassador, Víctor Koronelli and the members of the Russian delegation.
The January 3 attack was part of a U.S. aggression carried out in the early morning against Caracas and other cities in the country, which caused the death of 32 Cubans, hundreds of Venezuelans.
