Russian President sent Christmas and New Year message to Venezuela and allied countries

The President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, congratulated the leaders of allied countries and Pope Francis on Christmas and the early arrival of the New Year, according to information from the Kremlin quoted by Sputnik.

Latin American leaders include Nicolás Maduro, president of Venezuela, Daniel Ortega of Nicaragua, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva of Brazil, Miguel Díaz-Canel of Cuba and Luis Arce of Bolivia.

In addition, they received New Year and Christmas greetings, Xi Jinping, President of China, Kim Jong-un, President of the North Korean Council of State, Viktor Orban, Prime Minister of Hungary, Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India, Aleksandar Vucic, President of Serbia, Cyril Ramaphosa, President of South Africa, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, President of Türkiye.

On the occasion of the coming New Year, Putin greeted some former heads of state, including the former president of Cuba, Raúl Castro, as indicated in the statement.
