Ruta Maternal guarantees comprehensive care for pregnant women

Until this Friday, November 7, a series of activities will be taking place in the state of Cojedes to commemorate the seventh anniversary of the Maternal Route Program to ensure comprehensive care for pregnant women.

During the day, according to a press release from the Ministry of Health, various activities will be taking place in the entity's health centers, starting with the Dr. José Gregorio Hernández maternity hospital, located in the Rómulo Gallegos municipality. In this institution, educational sessions, prenatal consultations, nutritional evaluations and ultrasound were carried out, all aimed at the physical and emotional well-being of pregnant women.

In addition, in this context, at the Comprehensive Popular Clinics (CPI) and the Egor Nucete Hospital in San Carlos, in the Ezequiel Zamora municipality, informative talks have been offered on cardiovascular diseases in pregnancy, breastfeeding, exercises to prepare for childbirth and nutritional recommendations.
