Saab prosecutor: Investigation against Roberto Rincón and his sons for corruption in PDVSA progresses

The Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab, reported that the Public Ministry (MP), through the National Public Prosecutor's Offices 50 and 67, is making progress in investigations against Roberto Rincón, José Rincón and Alexandra Rincón, for the crimes of bribery, evasion of tendering processes, money laundering and association to commit crimes.

Through a publication on his account on the social network X, he specified that the above-mentioned citizens are under investigation for plots related to irregularities “in bidding processes and direct award of contracts with BARIVEN”.

He also mentioned that for the diversion of funds from Petrleos de Venezuela (PDVSA), which were deposited through Credit Suisse and records of suspicious activity due to the deposit and transfers of large amounts of money obtained illegally through the above-mentioned criminal actions.

Saab highlighted that there is an arrest warrant against these criminals, as well as a red alert and a request for extradition, as part of the national government's efforts to bring to justice those involved in these corruption cases.
