Saab prosecutor: Venezuela processes arrest warrant against President Milei for stealing an EMTRASUR plane

The Attorney General of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Tarek William Saab, reported that the country will open an investigation against the president of Argentina, Javier Milei, on the basis of international law for the theft of the EMTRASUR plane.

At a press conference, held on the afternoon of this Wednesday, September 18, the Prosecutor specified that the crimes for which the Argentine Head of State is accused are: aggravated theft, money laundering, illegitimate deprivation of liberty, simulation of a punishable act, unlawful interference, incapacitation of aircraft and association to commit crimes.

“Based on the United Nations Convention on Organized Crime, in its article 15, which establishes the possibility of the Homeland State to establish its jurisdiction outside it, the Public Prosecutor's Office opens an investigation against President Milei ( ... )”, he said. Sabb added that Milei has become a brutal danger for the entire hemisphere.

In his statements, the head of the Public Ministry added that prosecutors specialized in the matter were assigned who will be in charge of the case in which an arrest warrant is being processed against Javier Milei, president of Argentina; Karina Milei, Secretary of Government and the Minister of Southern Security, Patricia Bullrich.
