Saab Public Prosecutor: The Public Ministry Goes to Your Community has served more than 4 million people

The Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab, reported that the program “The Public Ministry Goes to Your Community” has served a total of 4,085,508 people through public offices and street justice programs, in 8 years of its administration.

“Since 2022, 107,794 people have been treated and approximately 10,000 criminal complaints have been collected, which is a record and important figure because a large majority of the cases we handle here are criminal in nature,” said the head of the Public Ministry.

He added that the programs “The Public Ministry Responds to Your Complaint in the Parish” or “The Public Ministry Visits Your Commune” are also unique in the country and in the Western Hemisphere.

“A Public Ministry that is deployed in a square, that visits educational centers for preventive care; in communes to hear directly the complaints of our people and thus be able to resolve them,” Saab reiterated.
