The Administrative Service for Identification, Migration and Aliens (SAIME) announced the start of a special day of renewing an identity card without an appointment at all its offices in the country.

Through a post on its Instagram account, SAIME indicated that the day will take place from Monday, January 26th to Friday, January 30th, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

In addition, the identifying entity indicated that data verification will also be carried out for Venezuelan and naturalized citizens, whose ID range is starting at 22 million.

The requirements for data verification are: simple copy of the birth certificate, copy of the proof of naturalization or official gazette.

He also emphasized that if the person obtained their identity document in the last six months, it will not be possible to renew their identity card. In the event of theft, theft or loss, you must attend with a complaint processed by the corresponding entity.

In the same way, if it is in poor condition, you can come to our offices and submit it so that you can carry out the renovation.
