SAIME eliminated printed forms for appointments and will request digital format

Users will no longer require a printed form when attending their scheduled appointments with the Administrative Service for Identification, Migration and Immigration (SAIME).

On its Instagram account, the government agency reported that the document can be submitted in digital format with the cell phone at the time of the appointment. In this way, faster and more comprehensive care will be achieved.

This new measure, in addition to reducing paper consumption, speeds up the procedures prior to the face-to-face appointment.

He reaffirmed that requests for all procedures are made through the official web portal.

“Now your procedures are faster, easier and more environmentally friendly. Forget looking for a copy center at the last minute or worrying about wrinkled sheets,” said the SAIME publication.
