A total of 6,300 identity cards have been issued to the population of Cumanacoa, Sucre state, reported the Sectorial Vice President for Citizen Security and Peace, AJ. Remigio Ceballos Ichaso.

During a supervisory visit, carried out with the purpose of guaranteeing the comprehensive and social care of these inhabitants, the Minister of People's Power for Interior Relations, Justice and Peace explained that “following instructions from the president, Nicolás Maduro Moros, through the Administrative Service for Identification, Migration and Aliens (SAIME), we have surpassed the delivery of more than one million cards at the national level; while here in the In the state of Sucre, we have issued 6,300 identity cards, guaranteeing the right to identity of these inhabitants.”

For his part, the director general of the highest body of Venezuelan identification, Gustavo Vizcaino, pointed out that the institution, in compliance with the guidelines issued by President Nicolás Maduro, is the guarantor of asserting the constitutional right of all Venezuelans.
