SAIME held a registration day in the town of Canaima

More than 1,500 natives from 10 communities of the different ethnicities that live in the town of Canaima were treated during a Special Identification Day, organized by the Administrative Service for Identification, Migration and Aliens (SAIME).

SAIME officials, together with a prosecutor from the National Electoral Council (CNE), were in the town of Canaima, in the state of Bolívar, as part of the Indigenous Route Plan, granting the identity document.

With this day, the Bolivarian Government guarantees the renewal of the document, as well as the identification for the first time of indigenous children and adolescents, SAIME press reports.

This is the first identification day he executed at SAIME at the beginning of 2025.
