The Administrative Service for Identification, Migration and Aliens (SAIME) reported that this Saturday, August 23, an operation will be carried out to verify data and renew an identity card, without the need for an appointment, in all offices in the national territory.
The SAIME noted that the day is aimed at Venezuelan and naturalized citizens whose identification number is between 22 and 32 million.
He specified that for Venezuelan citizens, a simple copy of the birth certificate is requested. For naturalized citizens, a copy of the official gazette or proof of naturalization.
He added that the opening hours will be from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and invited the population to stay informed through their official social media channels.
