Santos Michelena de Aragua Municipality chose the sovereigns of the 2026 Tourist Carnivals

The Santos Michelena de Aragua municipality selected the representatives who will lead the Las Tejerías Tourist Carnivals 2026, during a day held in Plaza Bolívar with the participation of 20 applicants from different sectors of the town.

The contest concluded with the proclamation of Gianella Pinto as Sovereign Mini; Samantha Ramos in the Petite category; and Irelen Castillo as Teen queen.

Mayor Régulo La Cruz accompanied the activity with his government team and shared with the families and support groups of the participants. “This election brings together the Tejerieña family. Organization and participation demonstrate the commitment of our people to their traditions. I congratulate the winners and all the candidates for their contribution to the municipality,” she said.

The musical presentation was given by Rey Rosendo, who performed pieces of the salsa genre before the audience, according to a press release from the mayor's office of the municipality of Santos Michelena.
